Land Owners (Property Partners)

Allied Beef recognizes that to be a good cattle production company it needs to establish strong relationships with Australia’s top grass producing property owners and that these foundations are the key to successful business. With this approach in mind, Allied Beef's program is based on developing a cattle program with individual property owners that targets the production of breeder, stocker, feeder or slaughter cattle suited to premium beef cattle in either the domestic or export market.

An important component of Allied Beef’s operation is the implementation of its best practise health production protocol on properties to improve the suitability of cattle to markets. This program has been designed to address the inefficiencies in the lot feeding sector as a result of cattle either under or not at all prepared for lot feeding. The program also incorporates benchmarking and data management to enhance the production of feeder cattle and business success.

Allied Beef tailors a cattle program that will maximise production capacity and resulting margins from the property through taking a broad market approach that considers the property resources including location, country type and seasonal production capacity.

Allied Beef works with a number of Property Partners and has various solutions that are structured to improve the success of the primary production business together with the supply chain. A typical arrangement is that Allied Beef will fully stock your property (or the property owner can stock it) with cattle for selected for premium markets (or we can purchase your cattle that are already on hand - weaners). Unlike traditional agistment arrangements, Allied Beef incorporates payment arrangements that are structured to recognise and reward the contribution of the property owner. These ‘partnership’ type arrangements can be flexible to suit an individual property owners needs.

These arrangements allow Property Partners to participate with Allied Beef and have the opportunity to benefit through economies of scale, a large geographic spread of cattle procurement regions, a value added health program and the group management and marketing of cattle.
