Allied Beef feedlot services

Allied Beef’s properties and partnerships can help you with feedlot needs

Allied Beef owns and operates premium rural properties, in addition to partnering with feedlots in eastern Australia.

Allied Beef can assist with:

  • custom feeding of your own cattle
  • marketing those cattle - spot and forward marketing arrangements
  • cattle procurement and purchasing through our established network of buyers and suppliers
  • supply of cattle to selected grain or sup fed markets including Angus, British and Wagyu

Our properties and feedlots are some of Australia’s best and have been selected for their superior production ability and location.

Vandyke Station

Vandyke Station is situated 30 kilometres west of the historic town of Springsure, on the banks of the Vandyke Creek, in Central Queensland. Springsure was first explored in 1843 and has gained a reputation as a premium cattle and grain producing region, making it ideal for cattle production.

Vandyke has a capacity of approximately 10,000 cattle. These are either backgrounded or finished in the feedlot, which was first established in 2004. The property is home to both custom fed and our own cattle with a mixture of Bos Indicus, British (and Angus) and Wagyu cattle directed to selected markets.

The farm also produces grain and fodder in a sustainable and efficient manner. This is used in turn for cattle production.

Gunyerwarildi Station

Gunyerwarildi Station (including Bundawarra) is located between Croppa Creek and Warialda, within the ‘Golden Triangle’. The ‘Golden Triangle’ is a respected production region north-east of Moree, northern New South Wales. The name comes from the region’s reputation as a strong and consistent agricultural performer, due to its premium soils and consistent rainfall.

Gunyerwarildi Station itself is known for being one of Australia’s best, due to its excellent fodder production ability and its ideal location to both cattle supply and beef processing facilities.

The station was first settled in the early 1800’s and today, under the stewardship of Allied Beef, will hold approximately 20,000 cattle. The property combines fertile soils and reliable rainfall with experienced and professional management, ensuring sustainable cropping and cattle programs.

Gunyerwarildi and Vandyke Stations provide feedlot options for graziers and beef customers. All cattle meet specific needs through professional management and production.

Allied Beef also offers complete ration formulation and delivery services to farms to allow customers to feed their cattle on farm.
